Public Practice Recruitment Ltd is delighted to be representing a well-established and thriving firm in the recruitment of a Senior Accountancy Manager. This role presents a huge opportunity for an exceptionally talented accountant with great all-round experience, ambition, leadership qualities, and the ability to drive the firm forward into a new generation of accountancy.

The successful candidate will be confident, a motivated self-starter, and will be unphased by overseeing a portfolio of clients with a fee income to c. £500k, supported by an excellent and experienced management team.

The role will require a significant amount of general audit and accountancy knowledge, technical experience, and confidence. We anticipate that the ratio of audit to general accounting will be in the region of 30:70.

The ideal candidate will be ACCA/ACA or CA qualified, with practice experience to Audit and Accounts Senior Manager level. They will have a demonstrable history of career progression in accountancy practice with knowledge and experience of cloud-based systems and strategy.

Key responsibilities will include managing a varied and diverse client portfolio, providing a range of business advisory and full-service accountancy services, overseeing the provision of audit from planning through to completion, and assisting in the strategic planning and delivery of business services.
