We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a fit-out background to join DCS Recruitment in Wrexham.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Construction Professional to manage commercial and contractual aspects of designated projects, ensuring sound financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all commercial and contractual requirements on designated projects, adhering to company procedures and processes.
  • Prepare accurate monthly cost reports for review with senior management.
  • Maintain knowledge of Main Contract and Sub-Contract Forms and Standard Method of Measurement.
  • Agree Monthly Valuations, including valuing variations and forecast final account.
  • Oversee subcontractors in accordance with Company Procedures, including procurement and account management.
  • Collaborate with Contracts Management to ensure site records and correspondence meet contract requirements and company procedures.
  • Maintain close working relationships with clients and design teams to achieve project success.
  • Liaise with Contracts Management to review and monitor project costs while maintaining high standards of quality and health and safety.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Quantity Surveying processes from relevant contracting experience.
  • Commercial acumen, problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking.
  • Good numeracy and IT skills, ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication skills, comfortable with deadlines, and able to co-ordinate activities effectively.
  • Awareness of the company's Business Plan and ability to promote the business.

What We Offer

$70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Hybrid remote in Wrexham, Wales.

Full-time position.
