Job Title: Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at a SEN school in Lambeth. The successful candidate will play a key role in implementing Speech and Language programs within the classroom, working closely with class teams to support our young learners aged between 3 and 19.

About the Role:

The Speech and Language Therapist will be responsible for leading training sessions for Teachers and TAs, supporting students in and out of the classroom, and having a creative and inclusive therapeutic approach. The ideal candidate will have a recognized Speech and Language Therapy degree, valid and up-to-date HCPC Registration, and registered membership of RCSLT.

Requirements:
  • Recognized Speech and Language Therapy degree
  • Valid and up-to-date HCPC Registration
  • Registered member of RCSLT
  • Previous experience in trauma or complex needs settings (paid or voluntary)
  • Clear and concise report writing skills
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
  • Experience with complex communication issues related to autism, including language disorder, dyspraxia, sensory impairment, and learning disabilities/difficulties
  • Ability to work independently
What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £39,930 to £45,730, full-time hours of 35 hours per week, and a permanent contract. The successful candidate will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service and employment will be subject to references.
