About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Adult Social Care team in Essex County Council. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with adults with complex needs, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure they receive the best possible care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to adults with complex needs, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care plans.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, social workers, and carers to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partner agencies and the local community to provide a supportive framework for vulnerable adults.
  • Contribute to the development of occupational therapy services, including the design and delivery of training programs and the development of policies and procedures.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy, or equivalent qualification, with current Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration. You will also need experience of occupational therapy, modelling good practice and providing advice and guidance in complex situations.
