Maintenance Director

We are seeking a seasoned Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations in St Neots. This role involves overseeing the maintenance team, driving business growth, and consistently improving maintenance performance.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, analytical thinking, and experience in managing maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a strategic vision for the maintenance department
- Analyze and optimize maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Identify areas of improvement to minimize waste and reduce costs
- Manage maintenance spend to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency
- Explore opportunities to transition corrective maintenance to preventative measures
- Support new projects and develop relationships with suppliers
- Negotiate and manage third-party contracts and services
- Review team performance and conduct regular meetings with team leaders
- Monitor attendance and adjust working hours as needed
- Foster a culture of prioritizing safety within the maintenance team
- Lead 4 direct reports and guide 33 indirect reports.
£70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience
