We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Pupil Support and Engagement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will support the attendance and engagement of disadvantaged pupils, working closely with families and students to understand their needs and provide tailored support.

This role is critical in helping us to meet our goal of improving educational outcomes for all pupils, particularly those who face barriers to learning.

The successful candidate will also work closely with Alternative Provision providers, supporting pupils who attend these settings and ensuring they receive the best possible education and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the attendance and engagement of disadvantaged pupils
  • Working closely with families and students to understand their needs and provide tailored support
  • Collaborating with Alternative Provision providers to ensure pupils receive the best possible education and care
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve educational outcomes for disadvantaged pupils

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with disadvantaged pupils and their families
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
