Lloyd's Market Architect Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Lloyd's Market Architect to join our team at JSS Transform. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-profile project with a leading Managing Agency within the Lloyd's market.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing business architecture strategies aligned with business objectives, focusing on enhancing operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business architecture strategies to drive growth, operational excellence, and competitive advantage.
  • Analyse current business processes, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement, and designing solutions that meet both short- and long-term objectives.
  • Support the design and implementation of business process transformations, leveraging expertise in business architecture frameworks and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with the IT and business teams to ensure alignment of solutions with technical capabilities, focusing on driving efficiencies and value within the underwriting and broader insurance operations.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Business Architecture, specifically within the specialty insurance environment.
  • Lloyd's Market experience is essential – familiarity with the unique structures and processes of the Lloyd's insurance marketplace will be key to success in this role.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage with senior business leaders and technical teams.
  • Experience with underwriting workbench or similar underwriting platforms is highly desirable, enabling support for the transformation and integration of underwriting processes.

Estimated Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
