Role Description

Questech Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to manage the day-to-day operations of a commercial workshop in Whitehaven, Cumbria.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in automotive maintenance and be able to lead a team to achieve set targets. This role offers flexibility in terms of payment method, allowing candidates to choose between PAYE, UMBRELLA OR LTD.

We are looking for someone who can process job cards efficiently, create accurate invoices, and maintain good relationships with suppliers. The ability to work effectively with technicians and the workshop manager is essential.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Process job cards and create invoices in a timely manner
  2. Ensure smooth workflow and efficient use of resources
  3. Work closely with the workshop manager to achieve daily KPI targets
  4. Maintain effective communication with suppliers and technicians
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a commercial vehicle workshop environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Local to the Whitehaven, Cumbria area

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum
