Contract: 6-Month Contract
We are seeking several dedicated and experienced Clinical Pharmacists to join our NHS Hospital client. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing clinical pharmacy services to patients and supporting the wider multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical medication reviews for hospital patients, ensuring safe and effective use of medications.
- Provide expert advice to healthcare professionals on pharmaceutical matters.
- Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to optimise patient care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans.
- Manage and monitor patients with complex medication regimens.
- Ensure adherence to best practice guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Support the education and training of junior pharmacy staff.
Requirements:
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Previous experience in a clinical pharmacy setting (Band 7/8a preferred).
- Strong knowledge of medicines management and clinical pharmacy practice.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Experience with patient medication counselling and pharmaceutical care plans.
