About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team at FCC Environment. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our facilities, while implementing and upholding all necessary SHEQ values and behaviours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage existing and future operational facilities and develop new opportunities within the area
  • Implement the Group's Health and Safety Policy & Environmental Policy
  • Ensure that the Facilities are operated in an efficient and safe manner
  • Carry out all Regulatory and IMS defined requirements
  • Ensure the efficient and safe handling of recyclable materials and residual waste
  • Maintain the IMS and Statutory Regulations onsite
  • Ensure sites are maximising recycling performances to meet targets
  • Maintain day-to-day contact with the Environment Agency and undertake regular liaison meetings
  • Liaise with customers to ensure their needs are met onsite
  • Manage contracts and liaise with customers
  • Ensure control of operational costs within budget and maximisation of cash generation from the business units
  • Manage and control all capital and provisions expenditure
  • Control the repair and maintenance procedures of equipment onsite
  • Carry out operational cost reporting
  • Participate in the preparation of forecasts and budgets
  • Ensure the accuracy of inputted information from the Weighbridge for invoicing purposes
  • Select and retain the necessary complement of operatives to operate the facilities to the appropriate standard
  • Provide training to ensure that the facility operatives possess the necessary range of skills to produce the required results
