About the Role

FCC Environment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our facilities, managing existing and future operational facilities, and developing new opportunities within the area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement the Group's Health and Safety Policy & Environmental Policy
  • Ensure that the Facilities are operated in an efficient and safe manner
  • Carry out all Regulatory and IMS defined requirements
  • Ensure the efficient and safe handling of recyclable materials and residual waste
  • Maintain the IMS and Statutory Regulations on-site
  • Ensure sites are maximising recycling performances to meet targets
  • Maintain day-to-day contact with the Environment Agency and undertake regular liaison meetings
  • Liaise with customers to ensure their needs are met on-site
  • Manage contracts and liaise with customers
  • Ensure control of operational costs within budget and maximisation of cash generation from the business units
  • Manage and control all capital and provisions expenditure
  • Control the repair and maintenance procedures of equipment on-sites
  • Carry out operational cost reporting
  • Participate in the preparation of forecasts and budgets
  • Ensure the accuracy of inputted information from the Weighbridge for invoicing purposes
  • Select and retain the necessary complement of operatives to operate the facilities to the appropriate standard
  • Provide training to ensure that the facility operatives possess the necessary range of skills to produce the required results
