We are seeking a skilled and motivated Midwife Practitioner to join our Women's Health Maternity ward at Whittington Health Trust.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Midwife Practitioner to provide high-quality maternity care to our patients. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Midwifery Team Leader to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate maternity care for both high and low-risk mothers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide total midwifery care for mothers under the direction of the Midwifery Team Leader
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate maternity care for both high and low-risk mothers
- Work collaboratively with the Midwifery Team to ensure seamless care delivery
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Stay up-to-date with the latest midwifery practices and guidelines
- Registered Midwife currently registered to practice
- Minimum of 2 years experience as RM
- Mentorship and assessing or equivalent
- Ability to practice autonomously in the acute and primary care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Priority of shifts over agency workers
