Nursing and Care Specialist

We are committed to delivering exceptional care to whānau in the community, empowering them to thrive. As a Registered Nurse with Plunket, you will have the opportunity to work in an eclectic range of environments, building relationships with babies under 5 and their village through their journey.

The role involves conducting home visits and facilitating clinics, developing your clinical and assessment skills and ability to work independently. You will be part of a holistic approach to care, often working closely with multiple agencies and specialists to provide comprehensive support.

To succeed in this role, you will need to hold a valid right to work in Aotearoa, be a Registered Nurse, and hold or be able to obtain an Annual Practicing Certificate. You will also require a restricted or full clean NZ Drivers Licence and a Post Graduate Certificate in Well Child Tamariki or similar. The salary for this position is approximately $60 per hour, depending on experience.

We offer a Monday – Friday role with some flexibility to work around you, as well as 'Well Health Day' where you can use sick leave for a proactive planned health day. Career pathways for leaders, educators, and head office positions are also available.
