We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Ward team at Newcastle Private Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced acute surgical environment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with our experienced team of surgeons, specialist doctors, and allied health professionals to provide comprehensive care to our patients. You will also contribute to the development of policies and guidelines to improve patient outcomes.

With an estimated salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement, you will receive competitive pay for your expertise. To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Current valid Australian Work rights
  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant post-registration qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to advocate for and implement individualised patient-centred care
  • Demonstrated professional manner when working with complex situations
