Fire and Environmental Manager

At Aylesbury, we are seeking a highly skilled Fire and Environmental Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and subcontractors, while also maintaining compliance with current regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and take corrective action.
- Provide training and guidance to employees and subcontractors on health and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with the Principal Designer and Principal Contractor to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives.
- Support the organization's Zero Harm initiatives.
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
- NEBOSH Environmental Diploma/Certificate.
- P405 – Asbestos Management preferred.
- Fire Risk Assessment accredited qualification (IOSH/BSC etc.).
- Membership of Association for Project Safety (APS) or Equivalent Organisation.
- Chartered Member of IOSH, or working towards.
- Recognised Auditor.
- Recognised Train the Trainer.
- Recognised Accident investigation techniques.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Experience of H&S management in construction.
- Demonstrable knowledge of current and relevant H&S legislation.
- Data Analysis and Report Writing.
- A good level of skill in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Full Driving Licence.
