Fire and Environmental Manager

ZipRecruiter is seeking a highly skilled Fire & Environment Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with operational managers to facilitate liaison and ensure effective communication.
- Deliver training and awareness programs to employees and subcontractors on health and safety best practices.
- Assist the Principal Designer and Principal Contractor in the delivery of their duties.
- Support the organization's Zero Harm initiatives and Sustainability initiatives across all contracts.
- NEBOSH Diploma or Construction/General Certificate or equivalent.
- NEBOSH Environmental Diploma / Certificate.
- P405 – Asbestos Management.
- Fire Risk Assessment accredited qualification (IOSH / BSC etc).
- Membership of Association for Project Safety (APS) or Equivalent Organisation.
- Chartered Member of IOSH, or working towards.
- Recognised Auditor.
- Recognised Train the Trainer.
- Recognised Accident investigation techniques.
