Responsibilities and Requirements

As a Registered Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading the operational management of our specialist supported living service in Braintree. This involves managing a team of professionals to provide high-quality support and care to individuals with complex needs.

You will be responsible for:

  • Recruitment and management of a team of professionals to support individuals with complex needs.
  • Development and implementation of effective care plans to promote independence and well-being.
  • Maintenance of excellent relationships with stakeholders, including family members, carers, and healthcare professionals.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of three years' experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism, with complex needs.
  • At least two years' supervisory/management experience.
  • Experience of implementing Positive Behavioural Supports (PBS) and risk management approaches.
  • Excellent assessment, support planning, and report writing skills.

You must also have a good understanding of CQC requirements, care standards, and relevant legislation, including MCA, DOLs, and MHA. A relevant professional or practice-related qualification is essential.

What We Offer

  • An annual salary of £55,000 - £65,000 dependent on experience.
