Nurse Care Specialist

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for the well-being of our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Coach and guide the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals.
  • Carry out assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans for each of our residents.
  • Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to the relevant standards, policies, and legislation.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • As a Registered Nurse, you'll be responsible for driving and running the unit alongside clinical duties in the home. This includes observation, medication, reviewing, and evaluating individual care plans, and providing clinical guidance to the care team and delivering best practice continually.
  • You have previous experience ensuring policies and standards are kept to a high clinical standard.
  • You are confident offering clinical guidance for care teams, being crucial in helping with all CQC tasks.
  • As a highly trusted member of the team, you enjoy building connections with residents and their family, giving them the kindness and support and care they deserve.
