Job Title: Community Chemotherapy Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Chemotherapy Nurse to join our team at Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a registered General Nurse with a passion for community-based care to work with a nationally recognized specialist provider. You will be responsible for administering a range of haematological and solid tumour treatments, while maintaining professional standards and providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer chemotherapy treatments to patients in their homes
  • Conduct clinical assessments and provide education to patients and their families
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse with active NMC PIN
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience of community-based work is desirable but not essential
  • Qualified in administering Cytotoxic drugs
  • Cannulate and have experience undertaking clinical assessments
Benefits
  • Fully expensed company car and fuel card or car allowance of £4877 per annum plus mileage
