About Our Client

Our client is a well-established manufacturing business in the UK, specializing in the production of high-quality products for various industries.

Job Summary

  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure improved prices and terms, leveraging negotiation and procurement best practices to drive business savings.
  • Collaborate with senior management to review sales forecasts against budgets on a monthly basis, analyzing stock levels and lead times to inform procurement decisions.
  • Issue requests for quotes and proposals, selecting suppliers that meet cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels aligned with business goals, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Reconcile stock on a monthly basis and manage the year-end stock take process.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a highly skilled procurement professional with:

  • At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing procurement
  • Excellent communication and financial analytical skills
