Air Operations Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Air Operations Coordinator to join our team at Rockpool Recruitment LTD. As an Air Operations Coordinator, you will play a key role in handling air service bookings, sharing information with the internal Guest Services team, and taking calls from the Miami-based Outbound Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage air-related activities, including pricing, planning, staff travel, and organizing special departures for unique Concierge Collection land packages.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by responding promptly to all communications.
  • Issue various air tickets accurately and process refunds and re-issue tickets as needed.
  • Identify optimal airlines and calculate air supplements, staying updated on tactical airline offers.
  • Monitor flight availability for group space utilization and negotiate extensions and keep reservations informed.
  • Extract reports for quality checks and store ticket details.
  • Book and ticket corporate travel requests and provide 24-hour emergency cover on a rota basis.
Requirements:
  • GDS Experience including ticketing on Sabre, Amadeus, or Travelport/Galileo.
  • Knowledge of Air Contracts and Nett Fares.
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication skills and strong product and destination knowledge.
  • Fares & Ticketing 1&2 qualifications or equivalent experience.
