Bennett and Game Recruitment is working with a leading Freight and Logistics firm based in the surrounding area of Southampton. They are seeking a dynamic and driven freight professional to join their team.
Job OverviewThe Freight Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in freight operations, including planning, invoicing, scheduling, quoting, customs, imports, exports, and managing freight movements from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in freight operations, including planning, invoicing, scheduling, quoting, customs, imports, exports, and managing freight movements.
- Deal with internal and external customers and logistics companies on a daily basis in both UK and International markets.
- Provide excellent customer service and key account management skills.
- Proven experience working within Air, Ocean or Road Freight operations.
- Knowledge of both Import & Export operations.
- Knowledge of Customs operations.
- Experience dealing with Dangerous / Hazardous goods.
- Salary DOE - £28 - 35k.
- Highly Competitive Private Pension Scheme.
- Death in Service Insurance.
- Monday - Friday (9:00-5:30).
