Fitness Educator Wanted

We are recruiting a qualified Fitness Educator to teach Physical Education to students at a reputable school in East Yorkshire on a temporary basis. This role offers the opportunity for permanence and covers a vacant position from January 2025 to Easter 2025.

This is a full-time teaching position, involving planning and marking responsibilities. The salary is based on the Main Teaching Pay Scale, providing an annual income ranging from £31,650 to £49,084.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Physical Education to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. Planning and marking associated with the role are expected.

The school is situated in Beverley, making it easily accessible by public transport or car. A large onsite car park offers free parking with plenty of spaces available. Our school enjoys a fantastic reputation in the local area. As this is a longer-term booking, we welcome applications from ECTs and may consider supporting the candidate through two terms of their ECT.

Key requirements include:
  1. UK school experience.
  2. Supporting experience within UK schools.
  3. PE teaching experience at KS4 level.
  4. An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
  5. A valid UK work permit.
