Job SummaryThe successful candidate will support the coordination, planning, development, and delivery of the Aged Care Programs for the Southwest region in accordance with legislation and standards guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical support at an advanced practice level to staff and client groups.
- Coordinate regular South West aged care programs meetings for both clinical and program development purposes.
- Provide education to relevant organisations, services and individuals regarding the principles and practices of care of older adults and the role of aged care programs within the region.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge of residential and community aged care services and quality standards.
- Demonstrated ability in caring for older adults and commitment to continuously improving quality of care.
- Understanding of and demonstrated skills in assessment and care of people with dementia.
- An estimated salary of AU$121,000 per annum.
- A collaborative and caring work environment.
- 11% employer contributed superannuation into a fund of your choice.
