Complementary Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Complementary Therapy Volunteer to join our team at LOROS. As a Complementary Therapy Volunteer, you will play a vital role in providing holistic care to our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients' needs and provide tailored complementary therapy sessions.
- Work collaboratively with the Complementary Therapy Team to ensure seamless delivery of care.
- Document all treatments and maintain accurate records.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Attend team meetings and contribute to the development of the Complementary Therapy Service.
- Level 3 Diploma in Aromatherapy or Reflexology.
- Successful DBS Check.
- Own Therapy Insurance and maintained CPD.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability.
- Good communication and listening skills.
- Teamwork and collaboration.
- Honesty and reliability.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Mandatory Training: Fire Safety Awareness, Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Data Security, PREVENT, Infection Prevention.
- Role-specific Off-the-job Training: Personal Manual Handling, Complementary Therapy CPD/Team Days.
- On-the-job Training: Induction Programme, Trial Period Review.
