Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PA/Research Administrator to support the Senior Leads of the Infection, Respiratory and Acute Care Group. This role will involve managing and delivering large Research Programmes, liaising with administrative teams and other departments, and ensuring efficiency and effective communication across all levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple diaries and calendars, ensuring timely and accurate scheduling
  • Provide administrative support to Senior Leads, including preparing reports, presentations, and other materials
  • Liaise with other departments and teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including researchers, clinicians, and administrative staff
  • Ensure compliance with University policies and procedures, and maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a PA/Research Administrator, preferably in a research or academic setting
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Discretion and confidentiality, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
Working Arrangements

This is a full-time position, funded for two years in the first instance. The post holder will be based in the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Primary Care Building, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG. The post holder will be able to agree a pattern of regular remote working with their line manager.
