Job OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and caring Care Assistant to join our team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users, enabling them to maintain their independence and live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide person-centred care and support to service users, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, medication management, and household chores.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring that service users' needs are met.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Previous experience in care and support, preferably in a home care setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the changing needs of service users.
- Basic knowledge of care principles and practices, with a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driving license (desirable).
- A competitive salary of £24,752 per annum.
- Contracted hours and flexible working arrangements.
