Residential Deputy Manager

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Residential Deputy Manager to join our team at North Lakes Children's Services. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young people.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective communication strategies and systems to ensure a full flow of information within the team.
- Manage and develop a range of quality direct services to young people, ensuring that policies and procedures are implemented.
- Identify and meet staff training and development needs, and assist in training staff as required.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations and maintain the condition of the building and its equipment.
- Manage finance budgets, control, administration, and records in accordance with company expectations and procedures.
- Promote and implement the company's Equality and Diversity policies and Child Protection Procedures.
- Hold a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma/Children and Young People's Workforce/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and listening skills, with the ability to work well as part of a small team.
- Be willing to learn and undertake a DBS check at enhanced level if successful for the position.
- Have a full, clean UK driving licence and be able to cover at other Residential Homes as and when needed.
- A sleep-in allowance of £62.64 per night, with potential extra earnings of up to £3257.28.
- Shift Rotation: 2 days on, 2 days off, with staggered start times ranging from 8am, 12noon or 2pm.
- 6 weeks annual leave entitlement, company pension, and access to our Employee Discount Scheme.
- Comprehensive annual training, including Child Development, Attachment Theory, PACE Model, Therapeutic Parenting, and The Whole Brain Child Model.
