Job Summary

TPF Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a successful bookkeeping firm based in the South East region. The firm is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join their team in a key role, providing day-to-day bookkeeping and management accounts preparation, as well as VAT and CIS returns. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Xero or QuickBooks software and excellent knowledge of Excel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver bookkeeping support with management accounts, VAT, and other services to a diverse client base.
  • Prepare and manage financial records, including ledgers, journals, and balance sheets.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of VAT and CIS returns.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • AAT qualified or equivalent experience.
  • Strong Xero or QuickBooks software experience.
  • Good knowledge of Excel and ability to learn new software systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure with limited supervision and meet deadlines.
  • Access to your own car for client visits.
