Job Description:

We are looking for a Production Methodologies Engineer to join our Manufacturing Technology team in Liverpool, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, launching, and optimising both new and existing processes to meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, including standardised production methods, equipment specification, industrialisation, and process standardisation. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in MS Office.

About the Role:

  1. Process Design and Implementation: Design and implement standardised production methods that align with business goals.
  2. Equipment Planning: Plan and develop equipment specifications to meet performance, quality, and financial targets.
  3. Industrialisation and Efficiency: Implement robust industrialisation processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
  4. Documentation Management: Manage control documentation (WI, Process Flow, PFMEA) and lead process standardisation.
  5. Improvement Initiatives: Drive improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

Key Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Relevant Engineering degree or equivalent industrial experience.
  • Time Management and Pressure Handling: Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Skills: Proficiency in problem-solving and MS Office.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Training Delivery: Experience in Lean Manufacturing and training delivery.
  • Communication, Organisation, and Teamwork: Excellent communication, organisational, and teamworking skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • CNC Machining Experience: CNC machining experience is desirable.
  • IATF Knowledge: Familiarity with IATF knowledge is an asset.
  • Six Sigma Certification: Six Sigma certification is a plus.

Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum.
