Product Development Engineer Job

Key Responsibilities
  • Design & Development: Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and products, ensuring timely completion and effective collaboration across departments.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, driving best practices in design and engineering methodologies.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple design projects, ensuring timely completion and effective collaboration across departments.
  • Prototyping & Testing: Develop prototypes and conduct performance testing, analyzing data to refine and improve designs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Work closely with manufacturing teams to optimize production processes, focusing on efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in mechanical design within a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills:
    • CAD Software Proficiency: Proficient in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo).
    • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on FEA and DFMEA.
    • Materials Knowledge: Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, casting, injection molding).
    • Prototyping Experience: Proven experience with prototyping, testing, and product validation.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills.
