Exciting Opportunity for a Teaching Assistant

We are working with a Primary school in Runcorn to recruit 2 x TAs to support pupils new to primary school who require additional support. Some personal care involved.

The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting students with a personalised curriculum and will be able to build a relationship and help the student overcome any obstacles and barriers to learning.

The role will begin as soon as possible, but you will be provided with an opportunity to look around the school and meet with the child before making the commitment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personalised 1:1 support to students, tailoring your approach to their unique needs.
  • Facilitating engaging and interactive learning experiences for the pupil you are supporting.
  • Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and parents to create a holistic and effective support system.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with students with SEN or working 1:1. And EYFS
  • A genuine passion for providing learning support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude.
  • Hold a Teaching Assistant Level 2 or equivalent qualification. or 2 years classroom experience.
  • GCSE Maths and English grade 4 or above/ or functional skills level 2.
