Key Responsibilities- Loading and unloading of vehicles, ensuring load security.
- Delivering and collecting goods to customers.
- Dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone.
- Using a handheld PDA to complete daily vehicle checks.
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing customer expectations.
- Attending regular training sessions.
- Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
- Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Working to deadlines.
- Confident, polite, and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
- Basic salary of £38,750 per annum (including night shift allowance).
- Overtime paid at an hourly rate.
- Rest day working paid.
- £70 every 5 years for HGV Medical.
- Attendance for CPC paid.
- Hours of work are Sunday to Thursday, start time 17:30 hours.
