About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to join our team at Mpac Lambert. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial automation systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to customers and internal teams to resolve issues related to industrial automation systems.
  • System Commissioning: Commission and test industrial automation systems to ensure they meet customer requirements.
  • Software Development: Develop and maintain software applications for industrial automation systems using programming languages such as Siemens and Rockwell.
  • Customer Training: Provide training to customers on the use and maintenance of industrial automation systems.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of our industrial automation systems and processes.
Requirements
  • Education: HNC, HND, or BSC in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial automation, with a strong background in software development and technical support.
  • Skills: Proficient in the use of Rockwell and Siemens programming platforms, with experience in integration of robotics into automation solutions.
Working Relationships
  • Reports to Service Team Lead.
  • Working relationships with: Aftermarket Department, Design team, Departmental managers, Customers, Suppliers, & Institutions.
