Perth, Perth and Kinross, United Kingdom Turning Point Scotland Full time
About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Manager to lead our Perth & Kinross Learning Disability service. As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the service, ensuring that it meets the needs of individuals with learning disabilities and autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the continuing relevance of services to individuals' needs and purchaser requirements by ongoing planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Assist in the development of new services where a need or opportunity is identified.
  • Ensure agreed standards of service delivery in compliance with relevant legislation, National Care Standards, and purchaser requirements.
  • Support the senior management team in the streamlining, promotion, and monitoring of quality assurance systems.
  • Ensure compliance with the Scottish Social Services Council Code of Practice.
  • Develop, monitor, and implement supervision and appraisal systems for staff.
  • Ensure that all Turning Point Scotland policies and procedures are adhered to.
About You

We are looking for a passionate and driven individual who is committed to the overall aims and objectives of the service. You will have experience of working with vulnerable people and leading a service delivery team, including managing the provision of a safe operating environment in a relevant context.

You should also have:

  • The ability to negotiate with a wide range of internal and external partners and build positive relationships.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise your own time and workload to meet a number of different and competing tasks in sometimes pressurised environments.
About Us

At Turning Point Scotland Perth & Kinross, we deliver services for people who have a learning disability or autism and unique and complex behaviours which challenge the service. We support people who live in 24/7 supported accommodation projects and provide support within our outreach service to people with learning disabilities within the area.

We are committed to providing person-centred support, involving people who know the individual well, including family and friends, other health and social work professionals, advocacy services, and our own staff members.

If you are dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable adults, we would love to hear from you.
