About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Critical Environment Engineer to join our team at our Farnborough facility. As the primary onsite engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of operational performance.

  • Design, implement, and maintain critical electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks to prevent downtime and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Develop and implement improvement plans to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and report on system performance, identifying areas for improvement.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a strong background in data centre operations, including systems such as BMS, UPS, STS, LV, HV, and HVAC. Excellent communication and organisational skills are also essential, as well as a proven track record of managing complex projects and prioritising tasks effectively.

A relevant qualification in electrical engineering or a related field, combined with experience in industrial, data centre, or mission-critical environments, is highly desirable. Familiarity with safety legislation and mandatory standards for critical environments is also required.
