The Bristol Zoo Project is a conservation and education charity that runs and operates Bristol Zoo, higher education programmes, and conservation projects across the world. We are looking for a Volunteer Coordinator to join our team to support our volunteers across the society. The role will involve recruiting and training volunteers, managing volunteer schemes on a daily basis, and supporting our transformation programme. This includes driving visitor numbers at Bristol Zoo and implementing plans for the new zoo.
The estimated annual salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits including 30 days of annual leave, access to our company pension scheme, and flexible working arrangements.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with experience in volunteer management and recruitment. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to equality and diversity.
