Senior Controls Specialist Opportunity

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Specialist to join our client's R&D team in West London. This exciting role involves working on the integration of new components and systems for electric and hybrid vehicles.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Developing embedded control systems for the automotive field, with a focus on hybrid or electric vehicles.
  • Generating Matlab/Simulink code onto embedded controllers to enhance system performance.
  • Testing control algorithms and system logic to simulate system design and improve efficiency.
  • Analyzing data to optimize system control software and achieve better results.
Required Skills:
  • Experience developing embedded controls for the automotive industry, preferably for hybrid or electric vehicles.
  • Proficiency in Matlab/Simulink or equivalent tool chain to generate high-quality code.
  • Experience with C/C++ programming for embedded applications, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Familiarity with automotive CAN tools to facilitate efficient communication between vehicle systems.

The salary for this role is £57,500 - £67,500 per annum, depending on experience. The company offers hybrid working options, allowing you to balance office and remote work. You will need to be willing to relocate to a commutable distance from the office or be able to commute regularly.
