About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director to lead our Civil Engineering Team in Hook. As a key member of our team, you will play a leading role in shaping the future of our infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate detailed design and implementation of infrastructure projects, including highways, drainage, and development infrastructure.
  • Provide technical input into the planning process and support the wider team's financial and commercial management through robust project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including private sector and local authorities, to negotiate outline and technical approvals.
  • Manage project resources and delegate tasks to junior staff, while mentoring and supporting their development.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant design codes, technical consents processes, and contract procedures for the provision of drainage schemes, including SUDS systems and associated infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Chartered status with at least 8 years relevant experience in Civil Engineering.
  • Relevant qualifications (Bachelor or Masters) in Civil Engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of financial and contractual aspects of planning, bidding, and delivering projects.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
