About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Materials Engineer Lead to join our team at Matchtech. This is a key role within our Defence and Security sector, and we are looking for someone who can take ownership of REACH related tasks and ensure compliance.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in materials engineering, with experience in REACH Legislation and process management. They will be responsible for training staff on REACH processes, advising engineers on material selection, and developing workflows and processes to ensure compliance.

This is a challenging role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities. If you are a motivated and results-driven individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality solutions, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement REACH strategies to ensure compliance
  • Train staff on REACH processes and procedures
  • Advise engineers on material selection and REACH compliance
  • Develop and maintain workflows and processes to ensure REACH compliance
  • Monitor and report on SVHC list updates and software changes
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in materials engineering or related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in materials engineering, with a focus on REACH Legislation and process management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
