About the EHS Advisor Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven EHS Advisor to support our business growth in Newport.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective EHS support during a period of significant business expansion, working closely with the European EHS Manager to develop and implement EHS policies and procedures.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and deliver health, safety, and environmental training to employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Conduct risk assessments and assist in the development of departmental risk assessment programs.
  • Support the development and implementation of site-level requirements for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 programs.
  • Provide day-to-day EHS guidance and support to KLA departmental managers and staff.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Candidates should hold a recognized health, safety, and environmental management qualification such as NEBOSH General Certificate or IEMA Certificate.
  • Knowledge and experience of health, safety, and environmental management standards (ISO 14001 & ISO 45001) is desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Salary Range: £45,000-£55,000 per annum, depending on experience, with additional benefits including contributory pension scheme, cash health plan, cycle to work scheme, global bonus plan, share scheme, rewards scheme, and life assurance.
