DigiKape Resourcing, a leading recruitment agency specialising in social care placements, seeks an experienced professional to fill the role of Community Cohesion Specialist. This position involves investigating and resolving cases of anti-social behaviour in Skelmersdale.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, able to work with council tenants and leaseholders to provide intensive support as needed. The specialist will also collaborate with relevant agencies to agree and implement effective courses of action.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Dealing with correspondence and recommending legal action in conjunction with the Council's Legal Team.
  • Visiting subjects at their homes, completing risk assessments, and developing action plans.
  • Preparing for and attending court as a witness or supporting witnesses.
  • Familiarity with QL Housing management System is preferred.
  • Collaborating with the Tenancy Services Section to manage anti-social behaviour according to the Council's policies and procedures.
  • Supporting the Council's transition to a place-based approach by promoting community cohesion and pride, working closely with residents to address issues and bring about positive change.
