Mechanical Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Technical Support Specialist to join our team at the National Nuclear Laboratory. As a key member of our Infrastructure Compliance Engineering team, you will provide engineering support to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing pragmatic engineering solutions, supporting maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with legislative, regulatory, and company procedures. You will work closely with our Maintenance Delivery Manager to ensure all maintenance tasks are performed safely and on schedule.
To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to obtain DV level security clearance.

Main Responsibilities- Develop pragmatic engineering solutions to meet the objectives of the organisation in a cost-effective manner.
- Support maintenance activities by implementing and maintaining the technical basis of maintenance (TBoM) process.
- Ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and company procedures.
- Work closely with the Maintenance Delivery Manager to ensure all maintenance tasks are performed safely and on schedule.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
