Care Assistant

As a Care Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents. You will assist with daily living tasks, provide emotional support and companionship, and help create a warm and welcoming environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Support residents with their daily living needs, including personal care and medication management
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, helping to build strong relationships and a sense of community
- Assist with meal times, including serving food and drinks, and helping residents with eating and drinking
- Help to maintain a clean and safe environment, including assisting with laundry and cleaning tasks
- Participate in care planning and review meetings, helping to ensure that residents receive the best possible care and support
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a caring and compassionate approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. You will also need to be able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
