About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Veterinary Nurse to join our team at the British Veterinary Association. This is a unique opportunity to shape and grow within an exceptional team of nurses.

Our practice is modern, bright, and thoughtfully designed, offering separate cat and dog waiting areas and wards, as well as advanced facilities, including laparoscopy, dental X-ray, and CT on-site.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Will play a pivotal role in the organisation and planning of clinical operations, ensuring smooth workflows and optimised efficiency.
  • Will coach and mentor team members to help them thrive, with 6 weeks of annual leave, including bank holidays.
  • Will contribute to a contributory pension scheme, Health Shield membership, and a generous annual Wellness Allowance.
  • Will enjoy paid overtime, though we value leaving on time, with no OOH and opening hours of 08:30–18:30 and just 1 in 4 Saturday mornings.
  • Will earn approximately £60,000 - £80,000 per year, depending on experience.
