Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Engenda Group, a leading engineering and construction company. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the costs and contracts associated with our projects.
About the Role:As a Quantity Surveyor at Engenda Group, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting budget preparation and cost control for projects.
- Evaluating and managing variations, claims, and change orders.
- Providing accurate and timely financial reporting to project stakeholders.
- Collaborating with project managers and engineers to ensure commercial success and adherence to project goals.
- Monitoring project progress and identifying potential risks or opportunities for cost savings.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction or engineering industry.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and team-working abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools such as MS Excel, cost estimating software, and project management systems.
- Membership of a relevant professional body is desirable but not essential.
