Our client, a well-established Main Contractor, is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the commercial success of allocated contracts, working closely with internal teams, clients, and delivery partners.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the valuation process and manage costings to ensure accurate and timely financial performance.
- Prepare procurement schedules and assist with value engineering to optimize project outcomes.
- Oversee financial performance, preparing final accounts, budgets, and monthly reports to maintain transparency and accountability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and delivery partners to ensure seamless project delivery.
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, with at least 5 years of experience in Main Contracting or Fit-Out.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
- Knowledge of JCT contracts, with NEC experience being a desirable asset.
- A full UK driving licence and flexibility in working hours to accommodate project demands.
- Competency in MS Word and Excel to effectively manage project documentation and financial reports.
