About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Sturt House Hospital. As an Assistant Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological services to our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and formulations to inform treatment plans
  • Facilitate psychological interventions, including individual and group work, to promote recovery and well-being
  • Assist in the design and delivery of training programs for staff
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records
  • Contribute to service evaluation and research activities

Requirements:

  • Minimum of an upper second-class honours degree in Psychology
  • Experience of working as an Assistant Psychologist in a forensic and/or mental health setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality services and promoting the well-being of service users
