We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Children's Home Manager to join our team at Elite Care Recruitment Ltd.
About the Role:
- Provide day-to-day care for children and young people in a residential home setting.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated care team to maintain a therapeutic approach and provide direct work with children.
- Lead shifts and manage a staff team, ensuring the home operates within legal parameters.
- Assist in leading staff to operate within legal parameters and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Support the business, clinical, and social development of the service.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent).
- 4 years' experience in residential care, including experience of working with young people who have challenging behaviors.
- Experience of leading shifts and being designated in charge in the absence of the Manager.
- Experience of supervising care staff and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
- A full UK Manual driving license.
