We are a new children's home operator seeking like-minded individuals to join our team as Care and Support Specialists. Our mission is to provide a nurturing environment for young people, promoting their emotional and physical well-being.

Role Overview

This role involves working directly with children, providing emotional support, establishing routines, and engaging in various activities such as cooking, sports, writing, music, and relaxation. You will be part of a small team of six, supported by experienced managers, education professionals, and outdoor experts.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with children, understanding their needs and preferences
  • Create a safe and welcoming living environment
  • Establish daily routines and schedules
  • Encourage participation in activities such as sports, creative pursuits, and relaxation
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and well-being
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have some experience working with children, ideally in a residential setting or a care capacity. You must be enthusiastic, energetic, and committed to aligning with our Core Values. A Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential. We value resilience, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of our young people.
